The presidential scholarship is now open to international students who want to study at Shanghai University of sport. The international students who want to apply for Undergraduates, Master and Doctoral programs. Presidential scholarships includes full scholarships and Partial scholarships which covered all fees such as tuition fee, accommodation, living, comprehensive medical insurance expenses. But in Partial scholarships there are Type A and Type B. Type A scholarships includes tuition fee, accommodation expenses but excludes living expenses and insurance, OR other expenses and Type B scholarships includes only tuition fee which means type B scholarships has not covered entire tuition fee.     

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be non Chinese

Applicants have a good health condition

Candidates of the undergraduate program must meet the following requirements according to JWH of the MOE of China

Applicants shall have held a valid foreign passport which means provide living record as foreign student

Education History

Applicants for undergraduate discipline must have an education background equal to High school diploma/degree in China and must be under the age of 22

Candidates for Master discipline/program must have Bachelor diploma/degree and under the age of 30

Candidate for PhD program must have a Master diploma/degree and under the age of 35

Language description

Applicants who want to applying for major as a sports will pass the Chinese language Test like HSK level 5

Candidates who want to applying for major as a international Chinese education will pass the HSK level 6

Candidates who want to applying for major tough in English will be a native speaker of English OR must be provide IELTS and TOEFL IBT certificates score 6.5 or higher and TOEFL score 80 points or Higher

Applicants must provide at least 3.0 CGPA of previous study

Applicant must need to provide NOC/ Police Clarence certificate

Required Documents

Applicants need to provide valid passport

Applicants who currently living in China must provide a copy of valid VISA

Applicants need to provide High school certificate and for highest education (Notarized) in English or Chinese version

Applicants must need to provide notarized copies of highest degree and Transcripts in English or Chinese version

Applicants need to provide valid (within 2 years) HSK report or any other certificate which is equal to language proficiency

Applicants of master and PhD degree must provide two reference/recommendation letters in Chinese or English from associate or full professors

Applicants must need to provide research plan about 1000 characters/words

Applicant also provide Pre acceptance letter / previous research and academic papers if any

Applicants need to provide Foreigner Physical examination form valid for 6 months

Applicants must need to provide Non criminal certificate

Applicants also provide Bank statement /letter of guarantee minimum deposit 100,000 RMB/CNY

Candidates need to provide Guardian Guarantee for applicant under the age of 18 as of Sep 1, 2023

Applicant must provide self introductory MP4 video of length 3 minutes in Chinese and English version

Candidates must need to provide payment certificate of registration fee

Applicant must need to fill out the application form and upload the required docs

Applicants need to submit their application fee/ registration fee 80 USD OR 500 RMB online and non refundable
