Chulalongkorn university scholarship is fully funded for 2023 and 24 international students. This scholarship offered many majors for oversees students. CU university scholarship covers full tuition fees and a monthly stipend with accommodation in the rate of 16.000 Baht. This scholarship is only for International Master and PhD students for 2023/24. This university has a great leading function in implementing and attractive participation with oversees community for further academic development for International countries. The Graduate scholarship program is established by the Chulalongkorn University for Asian OR Non Asian countries and provides financial support to oversee students who want to study their graduate studies at Chulalongkorn University. 

Terms and Condition

The scholarships cannot be extended

Once the scholarship has been awarded by the Chulalongkorn University to the applicants the

Scholarship candidates are not allowed to defer the period of the scholarship approval.

Scholarship applicants are not allowed to work OR accept any off campus employment in Thailand during the period of scholarship

Coverage of CU Scholarship

The Chulalongkorn University Scholarships has the following advantages

A monthly stipend and accommodation in the range of 16,000 Baht

Full tuition fees

The airfare of each leg that must not exceed 20,000 Baht for students from African countries

The 12,000 Baht for students from Asian countries

The students must pay their tickets and it will be return upon their arrival to University

Eligibility criteria of the CU Scholarship for International students 

International applicants must meet the following criteria for Chulalongkorn University Scholarship

All International applicants are allowed to apply and language of instruction is English

International students are not eligible to apply for the scholarship who studying in any program at Chulalongkorn University for more than 6

Candidates must have received GPA not less than 2.75 for Undergraduate and not less than 3.75 for graduate studies

Applicants must be not over 35 years of age

Applicants have TOEFL Score of 500 or 173 computer based and IELTS of 5.0 is required

Faculty, academic member and researchers are preferred who will return to work /teach at their home land institutions after graduation from Chulalongkorn University.

Documents requirements for Chulalongkorn University Scholarship

Applicants must prepared their following docs before apply at CU Scholarship

Candidates must have received a Bachelor OR Master degree program in related field to the field for which they are applying and candidate must submit their degree certificates to online application

Applicants must need to submit their official Transcripts issued by last academic institution

Applicants must submit application form of Chulalongkorn University scholarships with 1 inch personal picture

Candidate must need to submit their resume / CV

Candidate must need to provide valid Passport

 Applicants must need to provide Medical reports in applicant home country hospital

Applicants must need to provide two recommendations OR reference letters from the associate or full professor / Director or dean of the applicant institution

Applicants need to select the International program

Applicants need to download and fill the application form available on the official website

Candidate must send directly the completed application form with all required documents to faculty of their choice /interest in Chulalongkorn University before the mention deadline 

Candidate must be screened and recruited by the interested faculty and their names will send to the office of academic affairs

 All relevant docs which have been screened by the faculty must arrive at the academic affairs
