The President Scholarship at Zhengzhou University is now open to international students who wish to pursue postgraduate or doctoral programs at the university. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation fees, and a monthly living allowance. The duration of the scholarship is usually one academic year, but it can be extended for the duration of the student's degree program if they maintain a high academic performance.

The application process for president scholarships usually takes place in the spring of each year. Applicants are required to submit their application materials, including transcripts, recommendation letters, a personal statement, and other supporting documents.

Chinese Language requirement

·       The PhD candidates should have HSK 5 scored 210 in Chinese

     Applicants should have IELTS 6.5 or Higher Band in English if they from non speaking countries OR any other English certificate.

·       A valid Passport with white background passport size picture

·       Scanned notarized copies of Master degree and Transcripts (18 years education) of both Undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Chinese or English version

·       Applicants must have to submit a research proposal and research interest with minimum limits words is about 2000. The candidate must need to contact with supervisor to discuss with their Academic and age requirement

·   Candidate for PhD program must have a strong academic background in Master/M Phil (18 years education for Pakistani students) Or equivalent degree with under the age of 40

Language of instruction:

Application Time in ZZU university usually there are two intakes every year one is March and 2nd is September intake. But the application season for March intake start from Oct 15- Dec 15 and September intake start from march 1st to 15 June.

Eligibility criteria

·       Applicant has a good health condition with no criminal record

·  Applicant with a strong academic background and good learning attitude with a highly specialized expert or researcher

·        Candidate must follow the rules and regulation of the PRC of China and ZZU

·   At the time of application candidate must not be registered as a PhD student in any other university in China research proposal before submission.

·      The applicant may be deemed unsuccessful if identified plagiarism in their research proposal

·  Applicant must need to provide two recommendation letters from professor and associate professor who know you well.
